The Dolomites typically play host to what are the most dramatic and decisive mountain stages during the Giro d´Italia professional race. Cycling the Dolomites though during late May often means cold weather and road closures. So why not cycle the Dolomites and the roads of legends during late July / early August instead?? This tour is perfect for accomplished riders who would like to challenge themselves on some of Europe´s biggest climbs (Sella Ronda, Fedaia, Giau, Stelvio, Mortirolo, Gavia ....). The daily routes provide well planned mixed terrain rides but always with the chance to cycle an optional climb! The 2015 edition of the Tour de France has been released in Paris and it looks like a race for the pure climbers. With limited time trial kilometres and a big final week planned in the French Alpes the race should go down to the wire on l´Alpe d´Huez; the final Stage 20 challenge before Paris!
The French Alpes play host to what will be a tense final week of racing for the professionals. Our Week 3, 2015 TDF cycling holiday suits intermediate to advanced cyclists looking to ride a number of France´s 2000m + elevation peaks. Fill in your cycling CV with climbs, such as, Col d´Izoard, Col de la Bonette, Col du Galibier, Col de la Croix de Fer and perhaps the most legendary of all l´Alpe d´Huez. If you are keen to see a Grand Tour live but also want plenty of time to cycle the stage route kilometres then La Vuelta is the cycling tour for you!
Week 1, 2015 La Vuelta Cycling Tour showcases southern Spain
(Andalusia) and due to the race route released
better suits Intermediate riders. There are 3 mountain stage finishes in the
first week of the 2015 La Vuelta race! Our cycling tour starts and
finishes in Malaga right in the heart of the Costa del Sol. During your 8 days of guided
cycling you will have witnessed 5 stages of La Vuelta live and visited
remarkable places, such as, Caminito del Rey, Cordoba, Baeza, Cazorla & Las
Alpujarras in the mighty Sierra Nevada mountains!
Week 3, 2015 La Vuelta Cycling Tour takes you cycling through many UNESCO
Heritage sites with well preserved walled cities, cathedrals, aqueducts,
palaces and plazas. The cycling will also take you deep into the world famous
